Ramp, Roadway Construction Planned March 20–31 on U.S. 1, Rockhill Drive in Bensalem Township

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that ramp and roadway construction will continue over the next two weeks on U.S. 1 between Old Lincoln Highway and the Neshaminy Exit under projects to reconstruct, widen and improve a three-mile section of U.S. 1 in Bensalem and Middletown townships, Bucks County.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through or near the work areas. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

PennDOT is reconstructing and widening U.S. 1, improving the interchanges, and constructing new bridges between Old Lincoln Highway in Bensalem Township and Penndel/Business U.S. 1 in Middletown Township under two contracts (RC1, RC2) totaling more than $207 million.
